Job summary

Collins Aerospace in West Des Moines, IA is hiring a production technician. This onsite role focuses on setting up and operating test stands to verify nozzle spray quality, angle, and flow, and to document results by serial number.

You will learn calibration, record keeping, and process steps, and you will certify conformance while following EHS, quality and CI guidance. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with potential overtime to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required; 2 years of relevant experience acceptable in lieu of diploma.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand prints.
• Manual dexterity essential for assembly and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate test stands to check nozzle spray quality, angle, and flow according to specs.
• Record spray parameters by serial number and certify product conformance through test results.
• Disassemble, repair, and assemble product per specifications as needed.
• Accurately complete production documentation and manage labor transitions.
• Support and follow all EHS, Quality and CI guidelines as directed.
