Job summary

You will lead a cross-functional team, coordinate with engineering and QA, set workloads, review performance, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. The role requires hands-on leadership, ERP proficiency, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication, able to share information in group settings and one-to-one, clearly explaining to others.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines and managing multiple projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with integrated ERP systems.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints and drawings (mylars).
• Read and understand internal procedures and policies.
• Ability to lead a group of people constructively, productively and fairly.
• Strong root cause analysis skills to learn from mistakes.
• Ability to operate a forklift, overhead crane or hoist as needed.
• Ability to use measuring instruments (calipers, height gauges, scales).
• Overtime and weekend work as needed to support manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Leads, supervises and directs workers in assigned areas.
• Confers with supervisors, managers and leads to coordinate activities.
• Confers with quality assurance and engineering on production issues.
• Sets up machines and equipment, issues instructions.
• Maintains time and attendance records and personnel reviews.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.
• Standardizes procedures to increase efficiency.
• Ensures safe working environment and manages hazardous waste handling.
