Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Project Engineer/Manager to lead complex R&D aerospace hardware programs from quote to delivery. You will coordinate manufacturing engineers, schedulers, quality, design engineers, machinists, and outside vendors, own customer communication, and drive on-time, on-budget results.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of engineering/industry experience; experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred) and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of engineering and industry experience.
• Experience leading projects across multiple departments and vendors.
• Customer-focused, clear communicator.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and creative problem solving.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects for complex R&D hardware from quote through delivery.
• Build detailed quotes and handle contract review on every assigned project.
• Develop the manufacturing flow, identify risks, and plan mitigations.
• Coordinate internal resources and make sure tooling and fixturing are ready on time.
• Own customer communication on schedule, technical issues, and scope changes.
• Manage outside vendors and resolve delays and technical issues quickly.
• Track profitability in Epicor and keep weekly S&S reporting current.
• Capture lessons learned and drive process improvement.
