Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead aerospace hardware projects from quote through delivery. You will coordinate manufacturing engineers, scheduling, quality, design, machinists, and vendors to meet quality, budget, and schedule while serving as the customer’s main contact.

You will build detailed quotes, review contracts, and drive manufacturing flow with risk mitigation. Strong communication and problem solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years engineering/industry experience preferred.
• Experience leading projects across multiple departments and vendors.
• Customer-focused with clear communication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and creative problem solving.
• Experience with Epicor or similar ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing projects for complex aerospace hardware from quote to delivery.
• Build detailed quotes and conduct contract reviews on each project.
• Develop manufacturing flow, identify risks, and plan mitigations.
• Coordinate internal resources and ensure tooling/fixturing readiness on time.
• Own customer communication on schedule, issues, and scope changes.
• Manage outside vendors and resolve delays and technical issues quickly.
• Track profitability in Epicor and keep weekly S&S reporting current.
• Capture lessons learned and drive process improvements.
