Aerodyn Engineering, LLC, in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a Manufacturing Project Manager to lead complex, first-run aerospace and defense hardware projects from quote through delivery. You will align engineering, shop floor, purchasing, and customers to translate requirements into manufacturable, compliant plans and schedules.

You will own technical details, provide proactive communication, and manage 10–12 active projects with strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering/manufacturing project experience, ideally in aerospace or regulated, precision-manufacturing environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to develop creative solutions to open-ended problems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed — capable of multi-project workload management.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage detailed work instructions for one-time, first-article development hardware builds.
• Serve as the customer's primary point of contact: providing schedules, status updates, and proactive communication.
• Own the technical details of projects — reading specs and drawings and translating requirements into a manufacturable plan.
• Provide internal reporting on project status, schedule changes, and cost impacts to leadership.
• Coordinate with purchasing, materials, and outside vendors to keep procurement on schedule.
• Support large OEM aerospace customers with strict quality and flight-worthiness requirements.
• Manage a portfolio of 10–12 active projects at once, maintaining detail across all.
