Job summary

Celestica is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Process Engineer for the cabin pressure controller cell in an ITAR-controlled aerospace environment. You will provide technical leadership, read mechanical prints, disposition non-conforming hardware, and work cross-functionally with program management and quality teams to resolve issues.

The role requires practical mechanical experience, strong communication, and the ability to navigate legacy hardware, SAP/JIRA/Teamcenter workflows, and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical prints and technical documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and share knowledge across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with outflow control valves and assorted mechanical components.
• A degree is not strictly required if capability is proven.
• Experience in aerospace or high-reliability electronics manufacturing is welcome but not required.
• Must be a U.S. person under ITAR requirements due to regulatory needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform design of experiments (DOE) in support of RCCA.
• Read and interpret mechanical prints and equipment documentation to diagnose and resolve faults.
• Partner with technicians and colleagues to drive troubleshooting efficiency and support throughput.
• Communicate clearly with technicians, supervisors, engineering management, and stakeholders to resolve production and test issues.
• Contribute to documentation, work instructions, and reports for troubleshooting and repair.
• Adapt to unfamiliar or legacy hardware environments and learn product-specific tools on the job.
• Maintain knowledge of aerospace, high-reliability standards and ITAR compliance.
• Uphold ITAR export control requirements and documentation.
