Job summary

Axillon Aerospace is seeking an experienced manufacturing engineer to plan and design processes, determine tooling needs, and improve fabrication of both new and existing products. The role emphasizes lean methods, data analysis, and collaboration to meet production goals and safety standards.

The candidate will support introductions of new products to production, optimize layouts, and lead process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing and supply chain environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience applying core engineering concepts to manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to transfer products into production via manufacturability.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and design manufacturing processes to improve fabrication of Axillon Aerospace products.
  • Determine parts, equipment, and tools to meet product specifications.
  • Maintain labor standards, safety, facility layout, and capacity analysis.
  • Contribute to organizational projects and goals.
  • Assist in introduction of new products to production from a design-for-manufacturability approach.
  • Develop process improvement projects aligned with business strategies.
