Job summary

Delva Tool & Machine in New Jersey is undergoing a precision-manufacturing transformation. We seek a leader to map current state workflows, identify gaps, and implement repeatable, technology-backed processes, starting with five to ten core SKUs in the first 90 days.

You will own MPps, work instructions, QC plans, and drive cross-functional collaboration with Programming, Quality, and ERP teams. The role demands methodical documentation and hands-on experience in CNC environments to reduce cycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in precision machining.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with CNC machining documentation (work instructions, MPPs, inspection plans).
• Methodical documentation practices and compliance in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with ITAR data handling and quality-management requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate current-state workflows and build a gap analysis for DNC, spindle monitoring, RFID tooling management, and ERP integration.
• Develop and own manufacturing process plans, work instructions, and quality control plans for assigned jobs.
• Define workflows for five to ten initial SKUs with complete process packages and floor-level execution.
• Coordinate with Programming on job launches and with Quality on in-process inspection criteria and FAI planning.
• Identify process improvements to reduce cycle time, improve yield, or lower cost using ERP data.
• Maintain process documentation in the document control system for year-one to year-three consistency.
