Job summary

Delva, an AS9100 Rev D certified CNC machine shop in Cinnaminson, NJ, seeks engineers to develop and maintain manufacturing process plans and quality control frameworks for high-risk aerospace programs.

You will specify tooling, coordinate with Quality and Programming, and ensure complete first article packages before production starts. The role emphasizes process improvement and RCA support to ensure on-time, compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and technical specifications.
• 2+ years in manufacturing or process engineering for Level 2; 5+ years for Level 3.
• Comfort working across floor, Quality and Programming functions.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with ITAR data handling and document control.
• Nice-to-have: aerospace/defense CNC experience; MPP or ERP tooling platforms; AS9100 audits experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Manufacturing Process Plans and Work Instructions for new and existing jobs.
• Build and own Quality Control Plans and First Article Inspection packages with Quality.
• Select tooling and fixturing; work on the floor and iterate from feedback.
• Coordinate job launches with Programming; ensure complete packages before first article runs.
• Identify process improvements to improve yield, cycle time, or cost.
• Lead or support root cause investigations and contribute to DFM reviews and quoting.
