Job summary

CMI Group Aerospace & Defense is seeking a Manufacturing Shop Planner for an on-site role in Tempe, AZ. You will coordinate daily production, lead SIOP rhythm, manage MRP and capacity, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining production plans, forecasting, inventory turns, and ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to ITAR/EAR compliance and customer requirements. Bachelor’s degree and ERP experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of manufacturing scheduling and planning ERP experience.
• Syteline ERP experience is highly preferred.
• U.S. export control ITAR/EAR compliance; U.S. Person status required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production and weekly SIOP meetings to provide data and guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to influence priorities and validate requirements.
• Develop and maintain production plans for materials planning and SIOP/revenue.
• Manage MRP, capacity, lead times, and assembly schedules for assigned products.
• Identify and resolve component availability and resource constraints.
• Create work orders and maintain forecasted WO/SO dates.
• Optimize MOQ, safety stock, lead times, and ERP capacity.
