Job summary

Omni Aerospace is seeking an experienced Planner to join our Wichita-area team. In-office role reporting to the Manufacturing Planning Supervisor; you must live within commuting distance from Wichita.

You will develop manufacturing concepts, integrate suppliers and processes, and create templates to meet production goals. Responsibilities include creating initial BOMs from customer drawings, coordinating materials and labor to meet schedules and cost targets, and ensuring accurate ERP

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in production engineering planning.
• 1–2 years CNC machining and/or assembly experience preferred.
• Two+ years in a quality role can substitute for operations experience.
• Drafting skills with CATIA (2D) are a plus.
• Experience in Six Sigma and lean manufacturing is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using an MRP/ERP system (e.g., JobBOSS, Syteline).

Responsibilities

• Develops and plans manufacturing concepts and strategies to support objectives.
• Creates initial BOM from customer drawings and engineering docs.
• Coordinates suppliers, processes, materials, data, and tech to meet delivery.
• Develops process templates and standard work for others to follow.
• Maintains documentation and records in ERP system.
