Job summary

Paycom in Wichita, KS is hiring an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/Planner to perform a wide range of engineering tasks supporting the manufacture of machined aerospace components and assemblies. You will analyze customer data, develop methods, and prepare BOMs to support fabrication and assembly, while ensuring configuration integrity and implementing corrective actions.

The role requires 2+ years of aerospace manufacturing experience, GD&T proficiency, and hands-on CAD/ERP tool use.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ direct experience in aerospace manufacturing engineering/planning.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and aerospace specifications.
• Strong GD&T knowledge and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop and control manufacturing methods for machined aerospace components.
• Prepare BOMs and release shop data to support fabrication and assembly.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve engineering issues.
• Create detailed work instructions and support NPIs and changes.
• Maintain product configuration integrity and support quality improvements.
