Job summary

Omni Aerospace is a leading aerospace manufacturer in Wichita, KS, seeking an experienced Planner to join our team. This in-office role requires living within a commutable distance and reports to the Manufacturing Planning Supervisor.

You will develop manufacturing concepts, integrate suppliers, and create Bills of Materials from customer drawings, while managing paperwork within the ERP system to meet delivery targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in production engineering planning.
• One to two years of CNC machining and/or assembly experience preferred.
• Two or more years in a quality position can substitute for operations experience.
• Drafting skills with CATIA are a plus.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma is beneficial.
• Must read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to plan labor and material to meet schedules and cost targets.
• Proficiency in Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and blueprints is required.
• Good written and verbal communication; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
