Job summary

The Gill Corporation-Maryland is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to design, implement, and manage the operational training program ensuring safety, quality and efficiency in the aerospace manufacturing plant. You will develop curricula, assess operator proficiency, and lead continuous improvement activities.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, Lean/Six Sigma background, and supervisory experience. On-site work Monday–Friday; relocation not offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or industrial environment; aerospace/advanced fabrication preferred.
• Strong Lean/Six Sigma knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Supervisory or leadership background in manufacturing desired.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain a structured training and OJT program for manufacturing operators.
• Conduct hands-on technical training on equipment, processes, safety, quality, SOPs.
• Evaluate operator proficiency and conduct audits; verify qualifications.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Safety, and Operations to improve SOPs and standard work.
• Track training KPIs and maintain training records per aerospace standards (AS9100, Nadcap).
