Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Brea, CA is seeking a manufacturing excellence leader to support planning, implementation and follow-through of continuous improvement initiatives. You will drive on-time delivery, productivity and cross-functional optimizations on-site at 630 E Lambert Rd.

The role requires a technical degree, 3+ years in high-volume manufacturing (aerospace preferred) and strong leadership, analytics and change-management skills to sustain cost-effective production improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration is required.
Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume manufacturing (aerospace, automotive, medical or related).
Eligibility to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

Prioritize, guide, and facilitate the manufacturing function to meet goals.
Lead cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives for safety and delivery.
Identify bottlenecks with Operations, Engineering, Planning and Facilities.
Establish and maintain KPIs across departments.
Ensure daily tracking of operations metrics and plant objectives.
Develop standard policies and practices to meet customer requirements.
Reaffirm or set production goals and lead the team to achieve them.
Develop department capabilities through coaching and accountability.
Promote an engaged, energized workforce on the plant floor.
Drive improvements using data analysis and best-practice methodologies.
