Job summary

AeroFlow Technologies is seeking an Intern in Middletown, CT. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Production, Finance, and HR to support aerospace component development and manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with production tasks, documenting procedures, and analyzing data to drive efficiency. This role provides exposure to lean initiatives and cross-functional teamwork in a highly regulated industry.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration or related technical discipline.
• Must be entering or currently enrolled in junior year or higher.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule during business hours up to 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist Manufacturing Engineers with daily production and process improvement activities.
• Support creation and revision of work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing procedures.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency enhancements.
• Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Assist with tooling, fixture, and manufacturing process development projects.
• Support quality investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct time studies and shop-floor observations to identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain.
