Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering leader to manage a team of Manufacturing Engineers and NC programmers supporting Marietta Production Operations Fabrication and C-130 Feeder Sites.

Responsibilities include setting strategic direction, resource allocation, and driving organizational objectives, with 25% travel to feeder sites. Collaboration with Manufacturing Technology will enhance tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and liaison across multiple departments to drive operations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with a focus on implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction, allocate resources, and drive achievement of objectives.
• Travel to Feeder sites to engage with teams (25% travel).
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Technology to develop tools and systems to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
• Develop manufacturing processes and layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, and material handling; drive adoption of new technologies.
