Job summary

Rock West Composites in Utah seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead engineering for advanced composite production. You will guide process development, qualification, and production support, while aligning with quality, safety, and cost goals.

The role requires 15+ years in manufacturing engineering with leadership experience in aerospace, and an ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects onsite in West Jordan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Structural, or Materials Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years in manufacturing engineering with 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Experience in aerospace composite structures manufacturing and NPI.
• Knowledge of GD&T, CAD/CAM, and manufacturing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team and set priorities.
• Oversee development, validation, and production support for processes.
• Drive new product introduction and process qualification.
• Coordinate with Operations, Quality, and suppliers to improve performance.
