Job summary

LPI Corporation, a longtime aerospace manufacturer, seeks an Engineering Technical Leader in Hollywood, FL. This role provides technical direction, leads efficiency-improving initiatives, and ensures compliance with aerospace quality standards across manufacturing operations.

The candidate will mentor engineers, drive Lean/Six Sigma projects, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to meet program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or 20+ years in mechanical manufacturing, including 10 in aerospace.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and MRB/cquality processes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or equivalent aerospace quality standards.
• GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Lead complex manufacturing improvement projects and establish process standards.
• Drive process capability, quality, cost reductions, and safety improvements.
• Support audits, customer reviews, and supplier interfaces.
• Coordinate engineering changes and assess impact on cost/schedule/quality.
