Job summary

LPI Corporation, an established aerospace manufacturer, seeks an Engineering Technical Leader in Hollywood, FL. You will provide technical leadership, set priorities, and drive process improvements across engineering and manufacturing teams to meet strict aerospace standards.

You will mentor engineers, lead complex projects, and ensure conformance with customer requirements and MRB processes while coordinating with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or at least 20 years of mechanical manufacturing engineering experience, including 10 years in aerospace industry.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action, and working with MRB and customer quality processes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or equivalent aerospace quality standards preferred.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to engineers, manufacturing personnel, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead initiatives to improve process flow, equipment utilization, and product quality.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Lead technical projects from problem definition through implementation and verification.
• Support new product introduction, production readiness, and process validation.
• Coordinate engineering changes and assess impact on cost, schedule, and quality.
