LPI Corporation in Hollywood, FL seeks an Engineering Technical Leader to provide technical leadership and strategic direction for aerospace manufacturing operations. This role drives process improvements, guides complex projects, and ensures compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering with extensive aerospace manufacturing experience, strong GD&T knowledge, and a track record of mentoring engineers and leading root-cause investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or at least 20 years of mechanical manufacturing engineering experience, including 10 years in aerospace industry.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action, and working with MRB and customer quality processes.
• Familiarity with AS9100 or equivalent aerospace quality standards preferred.
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and blueprint reading.
• Prior experience as a manufacturing engineer or estimator preferred.
• Experience mentoring or leading engineers preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred (Green Belt).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction to engineers, manufacturing personnel, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead technical projects from problem definition through implementation and verification.
• Lead initiatives to improve process flow, equipment utilization, and product quality.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective and preventive action.
• Lead customer product reviews and coordinate engineering changes.
