Job summary

ITT Enidine in Orchard Park, NY is offering a 2027 Summer Intern – Manufacturing Engineer position for senior/grad students. This full-time internship runs May–August 2027 with 40 hours per week, focusing on aerospace vibration isolation and related technologies.

Interns work with experienced engineers on real-world projects involving manufacturing, automation, and data-driven Lean practices to develop skills in product development, testing, and process optimization in a state-of-the-art

Qualifications

• Senior or graduate student in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or aerospace engineering.
• Interest in aerospace engineering and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead projects related to manufacture, production, and automation of energy absorption products.
• Work with manufacturing processes, automation/robotics, and LEAN principles.
• Coordinate activities on technical developments, scheduling, costing, and design/test problem resolution.
• Assist with customer visits, data reviews, and providing technical information.
• Support integration of technical activities and products.
• Collaborate with engineers or engineering management for supervision.
• Establish test criteria and analyze test results for prototypes and qualification components.
