Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma and active enrollment in accredited university.
• 0-2 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Investigate cutting edge manufacturing technology solutions and build business cases to implement them at the site.
• Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing workflows.
• Assist engineers with developing and updating process documentation (work instructions, setup sheets, SOPs).
• Collect and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Production teams to implement lean initiatives (Kaizen, value stream mapping).
• Assist with time studies and process capability assessments to improve productivity.
• Work with Quality and Engineering to ensure processes meet AS9100 requirements and design intent.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, scrap reduction, and throughput.
• Learn to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and aerospace specifications to support process decisions.
