Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Quality Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Malden, MA. The role offers hands-on experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, working with the Quality Assurance team on inspection plans, process improvements, and compliance activities.

You will learn to interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and AS9100 requirements while collaborating with Production, Engineering, and Kaizen teams.

Qualifications

High school diploma and currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
U.S. work authorization now and in the future; no sponsorship.
Ability to work in ITAR/EAR regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Quality Assurance to develop, implement, and refine inspection plans and QC procedures.
Perform inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specs and drawings.
Apply SPC techniques to monitor and improve product and process quality.
Participate in Root Cause Analysis and implement CAPA.
Support documentation and maintenance of quality records per AS9100 and customer requirements.
Aid in equipment and process qualification/validation efforts.
Support Lean and Kaizen quality improvement initiatives.
Interpret technical drawings, GD&T symbols, and specifications for compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality objectives.
