Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Hauppauge, NY. This role focuses on developing operation sheets and tooling design for military parts. Responsibilities include reviewing customer specifications, creating assembly instructions, and interfacing with the quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. This position is fully onsite and offers a salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience required, with a preference for aerospace/defense background.
• Strong focus on manufacturing specifications and tooling design.
• Experience with continuous improvement practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications for manufacturing.
• Create detailed assembly instructions and operation sheets.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and production teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation for shop floor processes.
