Belcan is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace manufacturing operations in Indianapolis. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing engineering discipline and experience in regulated environments.
• Experience supporting aerospace/defense or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements.
• Develop, maintain, and improve manufacturing processes, routings, work instructions, and engineering documentation.
• Support technical package updates, engineering changes, and manufacturing workflow activities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Operations, and Program teams to support production objectives.
• Conduct production floor process reviews, data collection activities, and manufacturing assessments.
• Support manufacturing planning activities including routing updates, disposition implementation, and process documentation maintenance.
• Partner with shop floor personnel to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve operational performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, delivery, efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Support project and program execution while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Provide regular status updates and technical support for assigned manufacturing engineering activities.
