Job summary

Davis Machine in Euless, TX seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead production planning from quoting through release, using hands-on machining knowledge to estimate requirements and develop efficient plans.

You will review drawings, coordinate with internal teams and customers, and address issues pre- and post-production to ensure smooth shop-floor execution. Five+ years in aerospace engineering are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/manufacturing/aerospace/industrial engineering or related field.
• Five+ years in aerospace manufacturing engineering with machined structural or hard-material components.
• Fluent in engineering drawings, 3D models, GD&T and PMI/MBD.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing planning from quoting through production release.
• Estimate machining requirements and develop efficient production plans.
• Review drawings and specifications; identify process requirements and risks.
• Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure requirements are understood.
• Provide engineering support after production release and resolve technical questions.
