Job summary

Moseley Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Mid-Level/Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the Seattle area to advance aerospace fabrication and production engineering.

You will drive tooling methods, implementation of standardized work, and producibility analyses on the factory floor. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve processes, support IPTs, and ensure manufacturability while maintaining program architecture for complex builds.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with manufacturing focus.
• Experience in production environment.
• ABET accreditation preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement production engineering and tooling methodologies for aerospace fabrication and manufacturing operations.
• Lead manufacturing plans and systemic improvements to work instruction processes.
• Translate new manufacturing process requirements into standardized work instructions and support training across multiple production teams.
• Participate on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to develop technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
• Develop conceptual designs while maintaining program architecture for production builds.
• Conduct producibility and variation analyses to verify process capabilities meet requirements.
• Provide producibility information for project planning and document best practices.
• Analyze design concepts to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Resolve complex technical issues affecting cost, schedule, quality, or performance.
