Job summary

Champion Aerospace LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to apply engineering principles to establish and improve manufacturing processes and products. You will determine machines, tools, and operation sequences, design tooling, and assist vendors on tool design for production, while ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes problem solving, cross-functional teamwork, and continuous improvement within the Manufacturing Engineering unit in an aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) with strong problem solving skills.
• Minimum five (5) years related experience, preferably in Aerospace or Automotive environment.
• Experience with metal-joining processes (Tig, resistance welding, brazing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and complete assigned Corrective Action Requests, working with the Business Unit team to identify root cause.
• Design and maintain manufacturing processes and equipment in the assigned Business Unit; write SOPs as required.
• Identify, scope, manage and implement Capital Investment projects to improve productivity.
• Actively participate in new product design reviews and interact with customers during audits and product investigations.
