Job summary

Advanced Reentry Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will build, integrate, and test subsystems for our Arc reentry vehicle, supporting transitions from design to floor execution and developing build sequences and tooling.

You will work with design and floor technicians to troubleshoot hardware, ensure flight hardware meets quality and schedule milestones, and contribute to process improvements across the manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing engineering degree with focus on manufacturing processes.
• Experience authoring assembly procedures and managing build configurations.
• Familiarity with CAD tools and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing and assembly processes for mechanical/electromechanical systems.
• Create manufacturing work instructions, process docs, and assembly procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and repeatability.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on manufacturability and serviceability.
