Job summary

Triumph Group in Forest, Ohio, is seeking an Engineer, AME 2 to contribute to aerospace manufacturing processes. The role involves evaluating complex processes, developing methods, and drafting instructions for production teams.

You will design tooling, implement lean improvements, and interact with customers and suppliers to ensure quality and efficiency. ITAR/EAR compliance may apply, and a BS in Manufacturing Engineering or related field is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering field.
  • Eight+ years of related experience or demonstrated ability to perform essential functions.
  • Pursuant to ITAR and EAR, citizenship/residency requirements may apply for select positions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluates complex manufacturing processes and analyzes methods.
  • Develops manufacturing methods, tests and improves equipment.
  • Prepares written and graphical work instructions for production.
  • Develops CNC programs and selects cutters for parts.
  • Designs tools, dies, gauges, jigs, fixtures for production.
  • Leads continuous improvement and lean initiatives in high-impact areas.
