Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a technical training specialist to support the Vehicle Structures team in building Terran R; you will demonstrate core manufacturing and QA processes, train peers, and help document procedures. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and collaboration to accelerate production of a next-generation rocket.

You will work on the shop floor with engineers and technicians, applying automation and advanced technologies, shaping how we build better rockets and a scalable

Qualifications

  • Expert-level proficiency in core structural manufacturing skills.
  • Knowledge of QA buy-off procedures and deburring to specification.
  • Ability to operate specialized manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools.
  • Strong collaboration and safety-conscious communication.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical training support for the Vehicle Structures team, demonstrating expertise across all critical structural assembly and quality processes.
  • Deliver hands-on demonstrations of advanced manufacturing techniques including precision drilling, trimming, fitting, clamping, mixing, and sealant/lubricant application.
  • Transfer knowledge and train team members on proper fastener selection, installation, torque application, and QA buy-off procedures.
  • Support the development and documentation of training materials for structural manufacturing processes.
