Job summary

BETA Technologies in Vermont is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Final Assembly Line to translate engineering designs into clear, shop-floor work instructions for safe, efficient aircraft assembly.

You will author SOPs, support production technicians on the floor, collaborate with Quality on non-conformances, and help refine processes using 3DX/CATIA and Plex ERP. Previous aerospace experience and strong communication are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably aerospace.
• Read engineering drawings, GD&T, and 3D models.
• Experience authoring SOPs and controlled production documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication for floor personnel.
• Comfortable working on both production floor and office settings.
• Familiar with engineering change management and configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and 3D models to create shop-floor work instructions.
• Author and maintain SOPs and process documentation.
• Serve as primary technical contact for production technicians during assembly.
• Collaborate with Quality to disposition non-conformances and implement actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve clarity and efficiency of instructions.
• Support processes within 3DX/CATIA and Plex ERP systems.
• Participate in drawing reviews and engineering changes for manufacturability.
