Job summary

BETA Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Structural Assembly team in Vermont. You will define assembly methods, create work instructions, and drive lean manufacturing initiatives on the production line for complex aircraft assemblies.

You will collaborate with mechanical/electrical/software teams, apply FMEA/DOE, and develop processes from design through certification. Travel domestically or internationally may be required as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, quality).
• Lean/Manufacturing Engineering experience in a production setting.
• CAD design experience; 3DX and Delmia preferred.
• Experience with ERP systems; PLEX preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement assembly/installation methods for complex aircraft assemblies.
• Plan and document work instructions integrating engineering design requirements into production.
• Apply FMEA/DOE to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Develop and optimize industrial processes from inception to start-up and certification.
• Lead Lean initiatives to improve yield and drive continuous product improvements.
