Job summary

Redwire seeks an Associate Manufacturing Engineer in Goleta, CA to help set up and optimize production lines, develop manufacturing documentation, and support continuous improvement across cross‑functional teams. You’ll work with design, QA, production, and GSE teams to ensure compliant, safe, and efficient hardware manufacture.

Ideal candidates have a B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering, 0–2 years of experience, and an interest in RCCA, GD&T, and aerospace solar array production.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Familiarity with RCCA methodology.

Responsibilities

• Set up and optimize product lines including layout, capacity, instructions, tooling, and equipment.
• Create clear manufacturing documentation (work instructions, SOPs, test procedures).
• Contribute to new processes and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with QA to investigate and resolve non-conformances.
• Support RCCA and corrective action efforts.
• Assist in GSE design and feedback loops.
• Train technicians and production staff on procedures.
• Ensure processes meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Work cross-functionally across design, production, and quality teams.
