Job summary

RTCA is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for our Fife, WA facility. This full-time, onsite role supports aerospace manufacturing operations and contributes to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will engage in various shop floor activities, learn basic blueprint reading, and collaborate with machinists, leads, and inspectors while maintaining production records. Shift differential applies to swing shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude; willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing or CNC machining.

Responsibilities

• Support CNC machining and basic machine operation activities.
• Load and unload parts on various machines.
• Move materials and parts throughout the facility using carts or forklift.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing coolant and cleaning work areas.
• Collaborate with machinists, leads, inspectors, and other production personnel.
• Maintain accurate production records and document daily activities.
