Job summary

RTCA in Fife, Washington is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will support CNC machining, basic machine operation, material handling, and shop-floor quality tasks to help us hit production goals.

You will learn blueprint reading, safety procedures, and lean practices while collaborating with machinists, leads, and inspectors. This role builds foundational skills and offers growth toward more advanced CNC fabrication work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attendance and reliable work ethic.
• Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in pursuing a long-term career in aerospace manufacturing or CNC machining.

Responsibilities

• Work full-time onsite at our Fife, WA location.
• Support CNC machining and basic machine operation activities.
• Load and unload parts on various machines.
• Perform part washing, deburring, honing, grinding, or saw operations.
• Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts.
• Support tool crib organization and inventory management.
• Follow safety, quality, and standard work procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
• Learn basic blueprint reading and aerospace manufacturing practices.
• Collaborate with machinists, leads, inspectors, and other personnel.
• Maintain accurate production records.
