Hadrian in Mesa, AZ is building autonomous factories to accelerate aerospace and defense manufacturing. The Applications Engineering team develops 0-1 machining solutions to scale production and push boundary of automation, tooling, and process control.

You will work cross-functionally to drive high-throughput, robust manufacturing across factories. We seek a curious, self-motivated engineer with deep machining, automation, or metrology expertise to join our world-class team and help launch

Qualifications

• Experience solving difficult manufacturing problems in production environments.
• Deep knowledge in machining, automation, metrology, or software for manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CNC programming and tooling decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes for complex aerospace and defense components, including strategy, tooling, workholding, probing, and inspection.
• Take 0-1 New Product Introduction parts from print to production for new customers and materials.
• Build automation, process control, and software workflows that enable production to run with minimal engineering attention.
• Set machine, tooling, and process standards adopted across Hadrian factories.
• Diagnose high-impact production failures and update standards to prevent recurrence.
• Advise on tooling, machine selection, workholding, and process engineering to inform CAM software.
