Job summary

Parker Aerospace is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician (Safety Focused) for the Day Shift in Kent, WA. The role supports safety initiatives, performs routine and preventive maintenance on aerospace assets, and helps identify risks while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The candidate should have hands-on maintenance experience, a strong safety-first mindset, and the ability to work independently while following manuals, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.
• Preferred experience with forklifts and moving large equipment.
• Requires experience in troubleshooting one or more of the following categories: CNC equipment, Hydraulic presses, Vacuum furnaces, X-rays, Lasers, PLCs/Electrical.
• Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent GED required

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain production/manufacturing equipment.
• Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments efficiently.
• Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings and documents.
• Perform work according to safety procedures and standards.
• Train others in multiple areas and skills.
• Collaborate to plan repairs, maintenance activities and project work.
• Manage work to ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Works under limited oversight.
• Source parts for repair and preventative maintenance of equipment
• Utilize CMMS software
