Job summary

Doncasters Storms Forge in Springfield, MA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic. The role covers hands-on maintenance of production equipment, troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and collaboration with departments to minimize downtime.

Hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM with a pay range of $24.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience. Ideal candidates have prior industrial maintenance experience, PLC exposure, strong problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong ability to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment or working knowledge of PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and installations.
