Job summary

Sonaca North America is actively seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of production equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will work with 480V 3-phase electrical systems, read schematics and mechanical drawings, fabricate and repair parts, weld and operate machine shop equipment as needed, while maintaining accurate maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pre-employment assessment if no diploma.
• HVAC, Electrical Journeyman, Boiler licenses preferred.
• Knowledge of 480V 3-phase power systems and controls.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electro-mechanical systems.
• Proficient reading electrical/mechanical prints.
• Experience with manual machining and fabrication preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Operate machine shop equipment to manufacture/repair parts.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate for repairs and improvements.
• Complete maintenance documentation and reports on time.
• Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
