Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks an Aerospace Machinist at Arnold AFB in Tennessee. You will join an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining test operations and sustainment efforts for the USAF program, with shift opportunities based on workload.

The role requires four years of machinist experience, ability to read blueprints, and a valid driver’s license. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain clearance are required; the position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Four years of machinist experience in an aeronautical test facility operation.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
• U.S. Citizenship is required and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems of manual and CNC lathes and mills.
• Repair and maintenance to minimize downtime; replace worn or defective parts such as belts, bearings and motors.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC components, including controllers, servos, and drives; read G-Code and M-Code.
• Maintain and repair manual lathes and mills with accuracy and performance.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair work and manage inventory of spare parts.
• Operate test facility equipment during tests and assist with test articles installation and testing.
