The role requires reading blueprints, GD&T, and following precise manufacturing instructions.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets manufacturing planning, sketches, blueprints, and specifications.
• Basic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Understand proper setup and use of tooling.
• Familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments, and good manual dexterity.
• Performs shop mathematics.
• May specialize on a single machine type.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform well defined setups and non-complex CNC/Manual operations.
• Handle diverse projects supporting production or job shop machining.
• Detect faulty processes and assist resolution.
• Interpret instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings.
• Use precision instruments to verify part tolerances.
• Follow standards and safety procedures.
• Document manufacturing planning quantities in paperless timecard system.
• May demonstrate basic operations to others with supervisor approval.
• Work under direct supervision.
