Job summary

Parker Aerospace, Exotic Metals Forming Division, is seeking an Experienced Machine Operator to set up and operate aerospace-grade machines on multiple shifts. You will form, cut, bend, size, and machine components from nickel, stainless, and titanium alloys while meeting quality tolerances.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, documenting processes, and using precision tools. Candidates must have a high school diploma and strong manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing planning and sketches.
• Know when to stop and ask for clarification.
• Understand proper setup and use of tooling associated with machines.
• Requires familiarity with machine tools, precision instruments and good manual dexterity.
• Required to perform shop mathematics associated with machining operations.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate various types of industrial machines.
• Ensure machine setup yields parts within tolerances.
• Use precision instruments to check tolerances and quality.
