This full-time, on-site role emphasizes problem-solving, quality, and ongoing skill development in a high-precision shop serving aerospace applications; strong measuring skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or technical training.
• Machining experience preferred; recent graduates welcome.
• CNC experience is a plus, manual skills valued.
• Solid shop math including fractions and geometry.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision instruments.
• Able to stand 6–8 hours and lift 40–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and job orders to determine materials and operations.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Select tools and set speeds, feeds, and depths of cut.
• Inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify specs.
• Adjust machines and change tools to maintain tolerance.
• Position and align work pieces using fixtures and hand tools.
• Enter and edit CNC programs and help maintain shop equipment.
