We are seeking an Aerospace Machinist/CNC for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Valencia, CA. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to manufacture precision aerospace components.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay range: $30 to $34 per hour.
• Job type: Temp-to-hire.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machining centers for aerospace component production.
• Edit and troubleshoot CNC programs as needed to improve quality and production efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers, quality inspectors, programmers, and production supervisors to meet delivery requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in aerospace, defense, or high‑precision manufacturing required.
• Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, or multi‑axis machining centers.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, process sheets, and GD&T requirements.
• Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling selection, feeds, speeds, and machine offsets.
• Proficiency using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and CMM equipment.
• Ability to machine tight‑tolerance parts from aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace‑grade materials.
• Strong troubleshooting skills related to tooling, setups, CNC programs, and part quality.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Aerospace manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality systems.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and aerospace manufacturing standards.
