Job Summary

A growing aerospace manufacturer in the Camarillo, CA area is seeking an experienced Production Manager for a direct hire, onsite leadership opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands‑on manufacturing operations leader with a strong aerospace background, AS9100 experience, and the ability to lead production, maintenance, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager will play a key role in driving operational performance, developing employees, improving processes, and supporting long‑term business growth. Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily production and operations activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Manage and develop production teams through coaching, performance feedback, training, and accountability.

• Partner with quality, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams to resolve operational issues and improve workflow.

Compensation and Benefits

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Compensation is $62 to $77 per hour, depending on experience, aerospace manufacturing background, AS9100 expertise, and leadership scope.
• Onsite position in the Camarillo, CA area.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Lead production and operations teams in an aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and delivery performance across manufacturing operations.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and KPI-based operational improvements.
• Oversee facility, equipment, production, maintenance, and quality-related operational priorities.
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is required.
• AS9100 experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 7 or more years of manufacturing leadership experience is required.
• Must be U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident.
• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem‑solving skills are required.
• Ability to work onsite and provide hands‑on leadership in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting succession planning, employee development, and cross‑functional operational improvement.
• Strong background with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, KPI management, and production efficiency initiatives.
