Job summary

Prattwhitney in North Berwick, Maine, is looking for individuals to fill a 3rd Shift position focused on developing skills for a Certified Operator role. Selected candidates will undergo a training program and learn to operate NC milling and grinding machines, performing production tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred: 1+ year of manufacturing, automotive or related trade experience.
• Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines.
• Verify conformance of finished work to specifications.
• Maintain machines by performing total preventive maintenance (TPM).
• Work collaboratively with engineering, quality assurance, and other production personnel.
