Aerotek seeks a Machine Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine and preventive maintenance on aerospace production equipment. You will read manuals, diagnose issues, and execute repairs while prioritizing safety and quality.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in teams on complex equipment systems. Training and collaboration are emphasized to uphold high standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Hands-on maintenance including preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting CNC equipment, hydraulic presses, vacuum furnaces, X-ray systems, lasers, or hot forming machines.
• Experience with hydraulics, PLCs, electrical systems, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, sketches, drawings, and schedules.
• Proficiency with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.

Responsabilités

• Install, repair, and maintain production and manufacturing equipment to support reliable operations.
• Inspect equipment and perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose malfunctions and complete repairs or adjustments efficiently.
• Interpret and follow technical documents to perform tasks.
• Ensure work adheres to safety standards and regulations.
• Train team members in maintenance skills to support cross-functional capability.
• Collaborate to schedule repairs and plan maintenance activities.
• Oversee work to ensure safety, quality, and documentation compliance.
• Source parts and use CMMS to document work orders and equipment history.
• Troubleshoot CNC machines, hydraulic presses, vacuum furnaces, X-ray systems, lasers, and hot forming machines.
