Job summary

FDH Aero in Valencia, CA is seeking a Machine Operator II to operate low-to-mid complexity machinery under moderate supervision. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot basic issues, and assist in training new operators to ensure quality and uptime.

Responsibilities include reading technical drawings, basic G-code familiarity, materials knowledge for aerospace parts, and strict adherence to safety protocols. This is a full-time on-site role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with moderate supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication to document findings and training support.

Responsibilities

• Operate low-to-mid complexity machinery following standard instructions and adjust settings for minor variations.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot basic machine issues to ensure continuous operation.
• Assist in training new operators on standard machine operations, setup, and safety procedures.
• Read and comprehend technical drawings to understand machining requirements and ensure alignment with production goals.
• Develop basic understanding of G-code programming to support machine setup and minor adjustments.
